As the Global HR Leader, you’ll report to the Corporate Services Leader (with dotted line reporting to the CEO) and assume responsibility for all HR related duties.
Specific duties include:
- Lead the development of our HR team.
- Champion Arbinger’s outward mindset including undertaking Arbinger’s facilitator training and participating with the leadership team to shape company culture.
- Initial hands-on management of all aspects of recruitment. We will recruit 50+ new people in the next 12 months.
- Provide timely and responsive service to team members seeking assistance on HR related matters.
- Act as an internal consultant for the leadership and executive teams on all HR related issues.
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, state and local employment laws and monitor any changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Create, update and administer HR related intranet published company policies and assist all staff and leadership team members in policy interpretation and application.
- Maintain all personnel files, HR systems, company directory and organizational charts and ensure they are up-to-date and complete.
- Manage all employee benefit policies and benefit provider relationships.
- Oversee the annual salary review and performance appraisal process.
- Lead the performance management process and any employee termination meetings when necessary. And perform all required termination documentation and follow up.
- Serve as the point of contact for team members who are requesting a leave of absence (ie. maternity leave, long term illness, etc.), balancing Pronto business needs with employment laws and compassion for our team members.
- Respond to all HR related inquiries from third parties including State unemployment offices, state disability offices and insurance providers, verifications of employment, etc.
- Support and encourage an environment of work-life balance and promote overall employee wellness. Occasional international business travel for leadership team building and planning.
To secure an interview, you should possess the following experience:
- More than 10 years experience in HR leadership and recruitment.
- Experience with nurturing a life-giving company culture.
- Proven ability to thrive in a startup environment and build a team.
